The community we serve is small but definitely growing, as are their needs. So, while planning our future and how to continue to serve them best, the most logical and highly requested step was to provide services for Small Businesses in our area. Our members asked, so we delivered, and after months of research, we decided the best course of action for our Credit Union was to partner with Ken and CU Evolution.

Ken is 1994 graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in Finance. He has 27 years of experience in commercial banking with experience ranging from small local financial institutions to large national banks, experience as a regulator, and ran a company that brokered commercial and real estate loans from 2008-2011. Previously served as Chief Risk Officer overseeing the Commercial/Business/and Real Estate portfolios for Life FCU located in Cross Roads, TX and Family 1st of Texas FCU located in Fort Worth, TX.

Johnette Green has been in the credit union industry for over 30 years. She began her career as a collector and worked her way up to Chief Lending Officer. She is responsible for all lending products including business products and the collection department at Las Colinas Federal Credit Union. She started her career at Cameron Employees Credit Union was there 10 years. She worked for Cy Fair Federal Credit Union 16 year and Air Force Federal Credit Union 3 years. Johnette received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1983 and she is an Ohio native.

Laura Beth has over a decade of specialized credit union experience. She will help new clients set up their compliance programs for business lending and is available to all clients for compliance questions related to business lending and business services. She started her career in credit union risk management as an Auditor for Waypoint Advisory Services. From there, she served as a Compliance Specialist for Tinker Federal Credit Union, Risk Manager at Oklahoma’s Credit Union, VP of Risk and Strategy at Las Colinas Federal Credit Union, and is now the Founder and Principal Consultant of Crimson Oak Strategies. She graduated from West Texas A&M in 2013 with a MS in Finance and Economics and has a heart for helping credit unions grow.

With almost a decade of experience, Abi has fulfilled many roles at a handful of Banks and Credit Unions. She began her career as a contact center representative, then moved to a branch setting where she working as a teller, vault attendant, member relationship representative, and member relationship officer. Next she moved to the lending department working as a financial services representative, then as a senior financial services representative in the internet branch before moving back to the lending department as a loan officer, Title clerk, and Lending project coordinator. Within CU Evolution, she uses her previous experience to help with the day-to-day operations and the various projects within the company.
